TomTom Digital Cockpit helps ART offer faster, easier in-car infotainment solutions

It takes the combination of good hardware and software to create a driver-centric infotainment experience. To help strike this balance in its futuristic eCockpit, ART is combining TomTom Digital Cockpit with ART software and hardware.

ART is known for creating futuristic in-car systems for infotainment and entertainment with user experience at their core. For its digitally connected eCockpit, the ART team chose to rely on the open and modular convenience of the TomTom Digital Cockpit platform.

Ease of integration

This integration enables ART to develop next-gen infotainment systems on the Android Automotive OS for today’s OEMs at a faster speed.

The partnership started in 2021, with the ART team initiating the pre-integration process. Although this can be quite complex, ART and TomTom's flexible and dedicated teams were able to build what was required with relative ease.

By taking advantage of this collaboration, OEMs can save resources, effort as well as time to market in bringing intuitive in-car solutions to their users.
