What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, cost effective and performant data pipelines for the TomTom Search Data Transformation team
Design, develop, and maintain supporting WebApp applications to search and visualize data processed and generated by the team
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers to maintain high code quality standards
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and project continuity
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them in our team.

What you will need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of software engineering with strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python
Affinity with data processing. Our team produces geospatial data that powers the department's collection of online search services. We're highly skilled software engineers that write software to process and transform data. In the end, it's the quality of the data that counts
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A proactive approach and a continuous learning mindset.
