Mobile Mapping Engineer

    For our team based in Poland/Łódź and USA/Lebanon NH we are looking for new team member with versatile technical skills in the office in Łódź .
    What you'll do
    •  Lead initiatives to drive improvements to the Mobile Mapping technology, primarily in LiDAR, GNSS/INS and Spherical Cameras,
    •  Perform root cause analysis using FMEA, 8D reports, 5WHY,
    •  Analyze gathered data against quality,
    •  Cooperate closely to the software engineering team,
    •  Design simple electronics and mechanical components,
    •  Assembly and disassembly Mobile Mapping system on the cars, locally in Łódź, also in remote location ( Asia, North America, others),
    • Support global team of Mobile Mapping drivers, via phone and remote connection,
    •  Work with suppliers, ordering goods and services,

    • Please note that for this role we can hire only candidates who are already based in Poland and can visit Łódź office three times a week.
    What you'll need
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or similar) ,
    • 2+ years of experience in a technical environment,
    • Comfortable with written and/or verbal communication in English,
    • Manual skills allowing being comfortable with mechanical parts assembly and disassembly, as well as soldering,
    • Familiarity with Excel, e.g. pivot tables and advanced functions,
    • Understanding of electronic circuits, embedded devices, data interfaces ( ethernet, UART, USB, CAN),
    • Proficiency with basic electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers,
    • Desire to learn, and deepen skills in mentioned areas,
    •  Soft skill allowing to effectively communicate with drivers, as well as software engineers.
    What is nice-to-have requirements
    • Basic 3D CAD design skills, or willingness to learn,
    • Basic programming skills in languages such C, Python,
    • Experience with electronic sensors
