When you buy a brand new TomTom device there may already be a newer version of your map available. With the TomTom Latest Map Guarantee, you can get every update to your map that becomes available within 90 days of first using your device. This ensures you will start driving with the latest map, guaranteed!

Make sure you get the most out of your 90 day Latest Map Guarantee by connecting your new TomTom device to an internet-enabled computer straight away.

How do I start driving with the latest map?

It’s easy to use your Latest Map Guarantee and start driving with the latest map.

Depending on which TomTom device you have (see below) you can use either MyTomTom or TomTom HOME to activate your Latest Map Guarantee. Simply connect your device, switch it on, click the link for your device below and follow the on-screen instructions (This will also help you to install the TomTom support application or TomTom HOME, if you don't have them installed yet).

If a newer version of your map is available it will be offered to you straight away. And if any more versions of your map are released within your 90 day Latest Map Guarantee period, TomTom will send you an email to let you know you should connect again.

For GO 800, 1000, 2000 series, VIA series, Start 20, 25, 60 & Sony XNV devices:

Don’t forget: in order to qualify for the Latest Map Guarantee, you must check if a new map is available within the 90 day Latest Map Guarantee period.

Which devices qualify for the Latest Map Guarantee?

The Latest Map Guarantee is available in all countries and on all new TomTom devices. The claim period is 90 days from first using the device.

Latest Map Guarantee is not available for mobile phone applications.
