A Junction View is a generalized representation of a complex traffic situation that exists at road junctions. It provides the driver with more accurate, detailed display and visual guidance instructions when approaching a decision point or a maneuver situation. Junction Views can lead to safer and more efficient driving.
The TomTom Junction Views product delivers a pre-processed Junction View database that enables application developers to select and compose the different Junction Views layers in a fast and efficient way. The service requires minimal data storage and takes into account individual customer's specific style and display requirements.
