What you'll do

  • Analyze, model, and improve operational workflows
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose optimization initiatives
  • Define and implement quality gates, checkpoints, and governance models
  • Support automation initiatives by refining manual or inefficient processes

    Documentation & Standards

  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including:
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Process Maps
  • Work Instructions
  • Guidelines and Best Practices
  • Tool Manuals
  • Ensure documentation is up to date, usable, and aligned across teams

    Assessments & Quality Management

  • Conduct operational assessments (e.g., Gemba walks, deep-dive audits, workflow evaluations)
  • Monitor quality KPIs and develop strategies to improve overall performance
  • Evaluate risks and define mitigation plans
  • Support root‑cause analysis and corrective action processes

    Training & Enablement

  • Prepare and deliver process-related trainings
  • Mentor and support operational teams on new workflows, methods, and tools
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for process‑related questions

    Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, production, product, and quality teams
  • Collaborate to validate and test tools, systems, and process changes
  • Drive alignment around best practices and operational standards

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in process engineering, operational excellence, or continuous improvement roles within IT/technology organizations
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, production operations, or geospatial data pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with workflow modeling and process mapping (e.g., BPMN)
  • Experience with quality management frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Kaizen)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, QGIS, or similar platforms
  • Ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience running assessments, audits, or operational reviews
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable processes
